Garfield Natural Trail
A nature trail meanders throughout this five-acre ravine from West Bay Drive to North Rogers Street. At the base of the ravine, an unnamed creek carries run-off water from surrounding streets and land. The trail is designed as a neighborhood facility to allow for a path between West Bay Drive and Westside neighborhoods.

The Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation Department is proud to be working with Thurston County Parks and Recreation to provide programs to meet recreational needs of the citizens in the Olympia/Thurston County area. Priest Point Park
Priest Point Park has a deep and rich history. Missionaries of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate came to this area in 1848 to minister nearby Indian tribes. The Squaxin Indians were the immediate neighbors while the Nisqually, Puyallup, and Snoqualmie tribes used the mission as a trading center. Priest Point Park, located on Puget Sound in Olympia, offers waterfront trails, picnic areas, a playground for the children, and covered picnic areas.

Watershed Park
Watershed Park, located in Olympia, has extensive walking trails. Deep in the park is the Moxlie Creek Springs Basin, one of the largest spring basins in the region. Beneath the towering, temperate rain forest canopy, the spring branches braid through the skunk cabbages and salmonberries to create Moxlie Creek. The park's trail system, although steep and stepped in locations, provides one of the City's best walking experiences. Parking for the one and a half-mile long, G. Eldon Marshall trail, is on Henderson Boulevard near Interstate 5. The park's trail system can also be accessed from pedestrian entrances on Eastside Street and 22nd Avenue.
